Barbara’s life was always full of music. She began studying classical singing in the Clara Schumann high school with Viola dé Galgoczy. In high school she also took part in various musical productions like Josef and Seasons Alive. Apart from that she performed as freelance Gospel and wedding singer in various churches in her hometown. After graduation she took master classes in the free university Jazz and Rock School in Freiburg/ Germany while being the lead singer of the band Hotline. After moving to Munich she joined the musical ensemble of the Musical Academy Munich and stared in musical productions like Rocky Horror Picture Show, Rocking 50′s , Cats and Elisabeth. In Munich she also found her second passion in dancing and started taking professional lessons in tap dance, hip hop, video clip dancing, salsa and house dance in Munich and in New York. She also took lessons and several workshops in stage fencing and acting. After leaving the Musical Academy Munich she did various Jazz & Soul performances in Germany, Bahrain and Beijing. In 2011 she performed in New York City were she presented her solo program Fire Soul. She also worked as choreographer and vocal coach and organized musical shows. In 2013/14 she presented the Jazz Soul Chronicles Part I & II together with the Frank Lacy and Les Goodson in New York. Together with keyboard player Sir Holly Jones and the KKD Jazz Big Band she now performs regularly in various locations in Munich and at Rotary festivities.
